Rafał Olbiński (Polish, born 1943) surrealist painter magazine illustrator and set-designer Rafal Olbinski was born in 1943 in Poland where he graduated from the Architectural Department of Warsaw Politechnical School. In the early 1980s, he emigrated to the United States.
Rafal Olbinski studied at the Faculty of Architecture of the Warsaw University of Technology, where he obtained a diploma in 1969. For years, he worked on utility graphics and posters. He participated in many Polish and international exhibitions of this field of creativity. He was the author of the graphic design of the Jazz Forum magazine.
